UX RESEARCH
NONPROFIT
Sefaria Library Assistant
Early UX foundations for an AI-powered study assistant. Spearheaded research before a single screen was designed, reframing the product from AI chatbot to guided learning layer. The real design problem turned out to be the Reader, not the assistant.

What people say
“
Adina is such a great collaborative partner. She is always asking questions, making sure she has all the bases covered, thinking through every permutation and possibility. She gives her whole design brain to every task and is a systems thinker by default. I was very lucky to work with her and she is an asset to any multidisciplinary team.

I really enjoyed working with Adina. She's one of those designers who makes everyone around her better — not just through the quality of her work, but through the way she collaborates with the team. She played a key role in creating a design system that was thoughtful, scalable, and easy to use and made a real impact on how efficiently the team operated. She's a great communicator, values different perspectives, and welcomes feedback

ABOUT ME
Hi I'm Adina! 👋🏼
I'm a product designer with a background in psychology, which it turns out is also the most useful question in design: why do people do what they do? My BA in Psychology and MA in Organizational Behavior aren't just credentials. They're how I work.
I come in when things are still being figured out. I listen to what users actually need, ask the questions no one else thinks to ask, and turn what I learn into designs that feel intuitive and dare I say, simple. ✨
Right now I'm working independently with early and growth-stage teams, mostly in fintech, nonprofit and health tech. Before that I spent three years at April making tax filing feel like something you could actually do, which is no small feat!
Currently available for new projects. I work with startups on product design, UX strategy, research and design systems, from early discovery through to shipped product.
I also lead group critiques at Designlab because I believe design gets sharper in community, and giving good feedback is its own skill 🎯
Outside of work you'll find me watercolor painting, weaving (specifically Saori), or walking. And I love blueberries and peanut butter more than anything, but not together. 🫐🥜
